URBAN STYLE KIT
Urban Style Kit is a digital personal branding tool kit based on my color dynamics practice. The website was created originally for my early clients to provide a digitally available summary of their color type they can access during their shopping.
Urban Style Kit is a web platform built on WordPress engine and a premium responsive template to support the dynamic magazine layout. The information is posted in entry format (descriptive content) and image gallery format (supportive content) describing the four basic color types and their three sub-types. All content, including the graphics, is custom made and copyrighted. Available functionalities:
Started as a web magazine, launched on the Hungarian market, 'stilusosan.hu' was the first digitized version of my seasonal color type guide. The platform offered a very focused approach to personal branding. Built on Joomla engine it contained more than 30 page explanatory description of the different color qualities as well as the use of colors in fashion, interior design and psychology. The page reached high popularity in Hungary and become self-sustained after 6 months. The monetization was mainly based on CPP advertisement. The platform eventually was closed down in 2015 when I decided to move to abroad.
After a long pause, the project was re-launched in London on Wordpress engine using blog style layout. The focus of the new content architecture is on the individual's natural colors and the ways to support them with external color choices. The content strategy pushed the highlight from the textual content to the visual information. Accordingly, the content marketing efforts are strongly linked to the Instagram and Pinterest account of the platform, maintaining an active social network. The current asset library includes more than a hundred social graphic and the same amount of copyrighted custom illustration.
